Carol Chen Poun Joe is a Surinamese Artist, Model & Actress.

She came into this world on the 11th of March 1989 in Paramaribo, Suriname. 

At the age of 3, she started to draw and was discovered as a burgeoning talent

when she was 16 years old.

Consequently, she started private lessons in drawing and painting with the Surinamese artist Cliff San A Jong. Through the intense lessons and studies of the classical masters,

she managed to develop her skills and graduate as a full-fledged artist at the age of 19.

At the age of 23, she began her own cosmetic beauty salon for hair and makeup. 

Later that year she specialized in Eyebrow cosmetic procedures and is currently

the best Brow Specialist in Suriname.

​

Throughout the years she has been focusing on her Beauty Salon, Art, and Fashion Modeling.

She Also did acting in short movies and that later inspired her to start acting classes.

In 2019 she started acting classes in Los Angeles to develop her acting skills.

Carol gets her inspiration from the beauty of nature and traveling.

She is also an animal lover.
